Throwback Thursday. Michael Jackson - Dirty Diana

One of my favorite songs by the late great MJ. You never hear to many people talk about Dirty Diana in terms of being one of Michael's  great songs, I think it should be at least up for mention.
But other then that there's not much else you can say about it. It's Michael Jackson. Take away all the non music related BS, personal feelings etc, and you cannot deny he is one of the best all around performers ever.
If music n artist like this were still around there would be no need for an HDMI segment.

Chamillionaire Ft Big K.R.I.T - This My World (HDMI Post 5)

Chamillionaire is back again with Big K.R.I.T as well on the track. This song is ill.point.blank.period.
Video is also on point. although it would have been cool to see krit actually in the video and not just his verse. maybe they'll make a second one?.Who knows.
After the mixtape Major Pain I was kinda disappointed in Cham, but these last few songs he has put out have got me feeling like Venom (whenever it comes out) will signal the return of the Chamillionaire we all know and love (maybe the mixtape messiah cham?). and also signal the haters to jump right back into being as Cham says "Internet Nerds".
No idea whether this will be on Venom since I couldn't really find ANY news on the much awaited CD.
What I do know is that this is a song that wont be leaving my speakers for sometime. Nor shoould it leave yours. Chamilitary Mayne.

Authenticity does not disappoint, nice vibe to the song, laid back kinda beat with some good lyrics that I'm sure many relate to. Definitely will be on replay for some time.

Nas - Top Down ft Swizz Beatz (HDMI Post 3)

A lot of people are clamoring that this is an old song. Which is true, when it was just swizz beatz on the track. But now Nas has graced it with his presence. Not Nas's Hottest verse EVER, But its Nas, What more do I have to say. I mean Really?
Its been reported that Nas looks to strike back into the game with a 2011 album release (Hopefully ASAP) which could also include The Lost Tapes as a Deluxe for free with the upcoming album (Checkout for interview http://www.collegedj.net/2011/01/04/news/nas-speaks-new-album-lost-tapes-2-free-mtv/)

This song is for a Folgers Jingle Contest Made by Young Rell (lead), Tunde (http://www.twitter.com/breeddd ), Lad (http://www.twitter.com/Ladmak ), and Dabi (http://www.twitter.com/iamraiseup ). Ive listened to this about 20 times and its still awesome, these guys did a great job. This is what more and more commercials need, some good music that would actually keep us interested. If this was the folgers jingle I would pay attention every time and maybe even drink some coffee (I'm already done growing anyway). I'm not going to label this as a HDMI (High Definition Music Initiative) Post just because it isn't a full song (though they should extend it...Maybe?).
But definitely be on the look out for more Young Rell being posted, I don't discriminate, whether your signed or not, race whatever, if you have good music your being posted in the HDMI segment, and from what Ive heard you will be hearing a lot from Raise Up in the future.

 As it says this is F.I.F.A from XV, Who in my opinion is one of the illest artists out. He is definitely a REAL dude. This song says it with the hook and of course XV delivers with the verse. If u needed an example of what this HDMI segment is all about, Look no further then XV as a guide. On XV's tumblr (http://xtothev.tumblr.com/) it says this song will not be on "THE KID WITH THE GREEN BACKPACK" ALBUM which is suppose to be out sometime in 2011 (Hopefully ASAP) But if this snippet is any indication to what the Album will be like I cannot Wait!

iPhone 5 Rumor Mill churning Hard

         ^---Could this be the next iPhone?---^

 While many rush to purchase their "new" iPhone 4 from Verizon stores the iPhone 5 rumors are in full swing.

Though bloggers and YouTube posters are fueling many rumors which may or may not be true its still interesting to read what the iPhone 5 could include.
Here are some of the rumors surrounding the new iPhone:

•  A5 processor which will be a dual core and mean significant ups in performance and maybe battery life (we can hope)
• Screen size being upped to possibly 4 plus inches 
• iPhone will have a 32 gb and a 64 gb available 
• Better camera. Possibly up to 12 megapixels and video shooting in 1080p 
• iPhone could be running on the 4G LTE If the Verizon network also gets the 5
• The iPhone could have all this and dare I say be cheaper on release
• New antenna system that should eliminate the Death grip situation
• The iPhone 5 should have Near Field Communication (NFC) Technology 
• iPhone 5 could be Scratch and Shatter proof
• Wireless sync with you iTunes
• Face Recognition Security 

 These are just a few of the hundreds of rumors about the new iPhone that will most likely be released in the summer (also a rumor. But Apple has been known for their summer releases).
The web has also seen talks about their being a physical keyboard on the newest iPhone, but in my opinion I don't think will happen unless they pull an Evo Shift. A physical keyboard wouldn't really go along with Apples plan to make the 5 sleeker and slimmer. I think they should just adapt the same qwerty touch keyboard many android devices have and give it some Apple flare,  they are much easier to use then the iPhones current keyboard. While the only way to find out whether these rumors are true is to wait until the Iphone 5 is released (or to break into Steve Jobs house) one thing is for certain if the newest iPhone has the majority of these features and a few tweeks here and there it will end up being not only one of the best iPhones made, But smartphones in general for at least a good few months. Also it could be a Transformer (My own personal add on to the rumors. Hopes are High)

Big Sean ft Chris Brown - My Last (HDMI Post 1)

This Post kicks off the HDMI (High Definition Music Initiative) segment here on Fight Times.
I know I'm about a week or so late from when this was first posted, but I like this song a lot and am a big fan of Big Sean's music.

The song is "My Last" Feat Chris Brown. Pretty ill track and collab here, Both go in as per usual. This is said to be the first single off Sean's highly anticipated Finally Famous album (rumored to be out in march).

HDMI....

So Ive decided instead of starting a whole other Blog, I'm going to just add this as a segment to look out for on Flight Times.
What is it you might ask? (you may not)
It is HDMI or High Definition Music Initiative
and this segment is being added. Well because there is some god awful music out these days.
No longer are there bands such as The Temptations, Earth, Wind & Fire, Journey (take your pick from the greats)
No longer do we even receive talented lyricism from the likes of Rakim, B.I.G, Nas, Tupac (again take your pick)
And that is why I'm starting this segment, We may not have the greats of the past, But there is good music out there to be heard, and with your help as well I plan to bring it to the airwaves.

First Flight

I figured since I'm in a Hospital waiting room that I would get a jump start on this....
Well first off Welcome to Flight Times
Contrary of the name this isn't a newspaper blog, though I may post things news related (who knows)
The main purpose of this blog is to well talk about whatever really, from music to politics (maybe...) and all that's in between.
Flight Times will soon hopefully have a YouTube show up and running Through the New Era Nerds Channel, which will be ran by me and a group of friends.
